If you’ve ever sampled the pizza at Roberto’s Italian Restaurant, then you know it’s a work of edible art! But, have you ever wondered what makes our pizza so special? To say that pizza is ‘Wood fired’ simply means, that it has been prepared in a wood-fired oven. A traditional wood burning oven is made of a heat-conductive material such as brick clay, or even concrete and when cooking our pizzas, we use all the tastiest, finest Italian ingredients.
Pasta recipes call for all kinds of ingredients but, there are two things any pasta recipe absolutely needs: Flour and water. That’s because flour and water are how you create gluten, the network of proteins that gives pasta its stretchy texture and bite! When we make our own homemade pastas, it just has a different, most delicious taste to it.
Our known famous cheese cake is baked fresh, using the richest ingredients from the buttery crunchy crust/base to the creamy cream cheese filling. We also have the choice of topping it off with either a selection of wild mixed berries or our homemade caramelized toasted nuts and stracciatella chocolate syrup.
